The World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2025 identifies the most pressing global risks and provides decision-makers with a basis for overcoming acute crises and developing long-term resilient strategies. The analysis shows that geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty, technological upheaval and ecological crises are becoming increasingly acute and that complex interactions between these factors are emerging.
Based on a survey of more than 900 experts from business, science, politics and civil society, the report identifies the greatest threats in the coming years. Both short-term risks up to 2027 and long-term challenges up to 2035 are analyzed.
