The current layoffs, plant closures and strikes in the European automotive industry are just the beginning. With the so-called robotaxis from Waymo, Tesla, Baidu, Didi and other manufacturers, the European and especially the German economy is threatened by the next disruption.
Robotaxis will transform individual mobility in just a few years. At the same time, this marks the beginning of a new era full of opportunities for sustainable, very affordable mobility and a better quality of life. That sounds as threatening as it is promising.
